A Quick video showing the assembly of a frictionless spindle using the New Way Air Bearing Thrust Bushing component. The New Way thrust bushing consists of a porous carbon sleeve encased in an aluminum housing with a porous carbon thrust face encased in a aluminum housing. They typically mount inside a bore. The recommended bore can be found in the specifications on the individual component page. The liquid used in the video to lubricate the o-rings on the OD of the air bushing before pushing into the bore is 90% isopropyl alcohol. This is the only recommended fluid for cleaning or lubricating Air bearings because it evaporates quickly and will not harm the Air Bearings.
